The Private Equity Awards 2009: Growth Capital and Buyout Deal of the Year
Steen advises the shareholders of Gardner on its sale to Carlyle – a transaction which was awarded Deal of the Year 2009 by the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) and Real Deals in an award ceremony in London in April.

Commenting on the award Jason Steen said, “This was a huge tribute to the management team at Gardner who drove profit improvements and turned around a poorly performing company. We are delighted to have acted for the shareholders in selling this outstanding company during one of the most difficult and tumultuous periods for deal making in memory”.
 

European Private Equity Awards 2007: Deal of the Year – France & Benelux
Steen advises Stirling Square on the sale of GDT which was awarded Deal of the Year 2007 in France & Benelux by the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA).
