Steen Associates acts as financial advisor to R on its acquisition of P & RE.
R the defence and security company has acquired P and RE for £160m. R is one of the world’s pre eminent suppliers of defence systems specialising in countering hostile threats from the Air, Land and Sea.
P and RE manufacture a range of heavy equipment focused on mine clearance and detection as well as defensive products for land systems. They are located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK and R is located in Haifa in Israel.
Steen Associates were exclusive advisor to R and conducted a detailed strategic assessment of targets within the EU and UK.
Steen transacted the acquisition for R, negotiating and structuring on R’s behalf.
